In an emergency, someone may not be able to explain their medical history. LifeID aims to make important details easier to find through a medical identity linked to a digital profile.
The idea brings a physical identifier—such as an NFC-ready card or tag—together with an online medical information experience. The goal is to make selected information more accessible to the people who need it, while treating privacy and permissions as essential design decisions.
